Adobe has discovered the compatibility issues listed below with running Lightroom CC 2015 or Lightroom 6 with Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan). We recommend that customers do their own testing on a nonproduction partition to ensure that new operating systems work with their current hardware and drivers. Nov 14, 2018 - System requirements for Lightroom Classic CC for Mac and Windows OS. Monitor resolution, 1024 x 768 display. Graphics processor. Not supported on Windows 8.1, Windows 10 versions 1511 and 1607.

It works well enough in the Mojave beta. There will be some trouble for Mojave + 1 with the dropping of 32 bit Intel support, as I think the slideshow module and the activation applications are either in part or entirely 32 bit.

But when I turned off 32 bit app support in Mojave, the rest of Lightroom 6 worked just fine. So I suppose there might be an issue where. Lightroom 6 can be installed and activated in Mojave, and then the majority of Lightroom works for post-Mojave macOS. I have to wait till Nvidia puts the new Webdriver package for 10.14 out there for my pimped up GTX980Ti. It will take some time. On top of that, I am still running on ElCapitan and High Sierra as well as Win7 on boot camp. This move to Mojave will require a firmware update and a complete move to the new file system AFS. I am not sure when to move. But I smell a big major pain coming my way if I switch to Mojave. For the time being, I remain where I am at.

As long as all Apps do work the way they work I will not move. I figured that best way is to freeze my system on High Sierra for the next three years. -Then I will have one more OSX as a Headroom option in 2021 - if I really have to. If you are in a similar position like me on a tricked out 5.1, be very very careful what you do.
