I tried to do a software update but it says my system is already up to date. I went to the canon website and it said mac OS X already has the drivers. I found it helpful up to the point where I had to locate my printer - LBP 3050. It is not available on the list provided. Only LBP 6000 and up are available. I tried installing those but it couldn't print, saying the printer was not compatible.

I then tried the dropbox to change to 3050 model but I couldn't scroll down the list. Free apps for mac. Any further advice on this point is more than welcome. Thanks very much again.
