I have been trying to uninstall the Cricut Design Space from my MacBook Pro for a few days now to no avail. I've deleted the app, restarted my computer and even had a friend who works for Apple attempt to remove the software but nothing seems to work. It shows up on the toolbar at the top of my screen (the one with the time and internet connection indicator) and when I hate 'Launch Design Space', it takes me to Google Chrome and opens the Cricut website.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of this? Go to settings > Users & Groups. When that opens, look for the button 'Login Items' it is right next to 'Password.' Select the CricutLauncher and hit the minus button '-' that is next to the plus '+' button below the list. It will remove cricut from your start up list. You can install an app call AppTrap.

It will remove all the files from a program when you delete them. Believe it or not, a lot of files stay behind when you delete an app, AppTrap gets them all and sends them to the trash with the app itself. If the above method doesn't work.

Install AppTrap, then go download and reinstall the Cricut software. Once that is done, go into your applications folder and drag the cricut software to the trash. Within a few seconds, AppTrap will pop up a prompt asking you to remove all the associated files too. Press 'Move Files'.

That should remove everything associated with the Cricut Software to the trash as well. Delete and for good measure, restart your mac. When it has restarted, see if the cricut software is still there. If it is, you may need to start a support call with apple. Install quik for mac.
