I can locate files quickly, and was surprised considering the disks I had a few years ago. The Blackmagic Disk speed test showed around 90MB/s read or write. Considering USB-C connector on my iMac is only for connecting the cable, rather than the technology being available yet for faster speeds we would like to have, this disk meets my expectations anyway.
