Hp Driver Release Date For Mac Sierra

пятница 11 января admin 25

Today Apple released macOS High Sierra Supplemental Update, the first major update to macOS High Sierra. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through the Mac App Store, or by using the standalone installer available from Apple.com.

I contacted canon and they said they don’t have a updated driver for Sierra yet. They told me to use the drivers for El Capitan which I downloaded and of course it still doesn’t work. I have 3 external lightning hardrives and one has El Capitan on it.

So If I really need to print I’ll just boot up into that and print from there. Everything on Sierra is on El Capitan so other than being a complete inconvenience it is my work around.

This is the price I pay for being an early adopter to new operating systems. I should have realize this about canon. They are so slow on getting updates its unbelievable.

This happened in the past and will most likely happen in the future with them. As far as apple talk I use an airport time capsule and down in the family room I have an airport express that the printer plugs into via network cable. It chose the apple talk so I never bothered with it. It has worked fine from before El Capitan.

I know this isn’t going to help you in anyway and I’m sorry. All we can do is wait until either Apple or Canon or maybe its photoshop can get it together. My HP Color LaserJet 2605 series (2006) will not work with Apple OX 10.12 Sierra because the installation software gives me the prompt that it will not work with this kind of Mac (mid-2010 iMac 27-inch). However, this same software package installed and ran on El Cap prior to the Sierra upgrade. HP Support will not chat with me.

I've been waiting over a half hour. Likewise, the software for my HP Photosmart C4100 series will not install on my mid-2010 iMac 27-inch running Sierra either. Does Apple have a solution to these two catastrophic problems?

All we can do is wait until either Apple or Canon or maybe its photoshop can get it together. I have the same problem with a Canon Pixma 600R Printer does not work with Sierra-Gutenprint 5.2.11, used to work nicely with El Capitan. Scanner works perfectly. I have the same problem with a HP Photosmart 2575 Printer does work with Sierra and HP drivers.

Scanner does not work, despite all attempts to re-initiate with the kind assistance of HP, used to work nicely with El Capitan. I really believe the producers of hardware are not to blame. Apple is changing the OSX inviting us (3x times for me) and is not doing neither the perfect job of making compatible software, neither assisting the clients or paying us any attention for the bugs they introduce in our systems.
